Unfortunately there are 72.96 million cases of diabetes in the adult population of India today and it is said to affect one in every ten people worldwide. Obesity is a medical problem that increases the risk of other medical issues and health problems, such as heart disease and diabetes. In this webinar, our esteemed panelists of doctors and nutritionists provided valuable information and discuss and share advice for healthy living.

Dr Fehmida Chipty: Received her BA in Biochemistry and Political Science at Wellesley College and her MD at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. She joined Digestive Health Associates in 1998 and her general GI practice interests include colorectal cancer screening, reflux disease, chronic constipation and Inflammatory Bowel Disease.

Dr. Arti Bhan: The Division Head for Endocrinology and Metabolism at Henry Ford Health System and a clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Wayne State University, School of Medicine. She has served on the Editorial Board for Clinical Diabetes as Associate Editor and has been published in peer reviewed literature.
